The TV/Telephone Ministry, in conjunction with the Billy Graham crusade telecasts, began nationwide in March 1981. From the privacy of their homes, people are encouraged to call a telephone number on their screen to receive spiritual help.

During the telecasts, more than 500 telephones are in use at these regional centers: Albuquerque, NM; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL;  Minneapolis, MN; San Diego, CA; Seattle; Riverside, CA; Wheaton, IL; and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Approximately 3,000 volunteers have been trained to staff these phones during prime-time evening hours. Since its inception more than 1,000,000 people have received spiritual help through this ministry.
